New Deputy Mayor Takes Oath

Cape May – Former Deputy Mayor Niels Favre took back the title yesterday at the City’s Reorganization Meeting July 1. Favre replaces Councilmember Linda Steenrod who took the helm at last year’s July 1 meeting.

Evening at the Whaler Cottages

Friends from the Center for Community Arts gathered at the restored Whaler Cottages on Batts Lane, owned and restored by Dave and Chris Clemans (check out the upcoming August issue of Cape May Magazine), for a fund raiser Saturday, June 27. Proceeds go to fund the arts and to help restore the Franklin Street School.



Beach Ball for Cape May Stage

Threatening showers did not daunt the Beach Ball at the Beach Club on Maryland Avenue Saturday, June 20. Live music and a live auction spiced the festivities with a lovely sunset as a bonus. Proceeds went to support Cape May Stage.
