I happened to be visiting Cape May last wk and was amazed that the bank st. wawa was closing. I have been coming her for the past 10 yrs and business was always brisk. I read the letter from the ceo but still its alittle hard to comprehend. I will miss it…
Why did it close? We spend two weeks at Cape May every year. Almost every morning I would stop for coffee and a paper during our morning walk. it was always crowded.
I would say the most accurate reason for the closing was it did not meet their expectations of creating a Super WaWa and their obvious corporate goal of eliminating all the regular WaWas.
is their any truth to the rumor about a super wawa on Texas and Lafayette or is just a rumor with out basis?
The rumor I heard was that the property at Texas and Lafayette (Just Sports, et al) has been sold and the Super WaWa will go there - across the street from Riggins Gas Station.
